Nick Rutherford is a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon offering expertise and experience in many areas of the specialty. He is the current Director of Maxillofacial Surgery at Austin Health, a post he has held for over a decade.
Nick completed both undergraduate dentistry and medicine through The University of Melbourne and subsequently completed his specialist training in 2004 gaining his fellowship FRACDS(OMS).
He subsequently spent time as a fellow in the UK in the subspecialty areas of craniomaxillofacial trauma, facial deformity and head and neck oncology.
Nicks favourite subspecialty areas include orthognathic surgery, trauma and implant surgery including bone grafting.
Jason Savage is a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Jason completed his undergraduate dentistry at The University of Adelaide, graduating with the ‘Kevin Murphy prize for Oral Surgery’ in 2006. He completed his medical degree at Monash University and his specialist training through the Victorian and Tasmanian Training Centre, gaining his fellowship, FRACDS(OMS).
He pursued further sub-specialty training in Melbourne, the United Kingdom and Europe, in the areas of orthognathic, facial deformity, TMJ and craniomaxillofacial trauma surgery.
Jason enjoys practising the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a special interest in orthognathic (jaw surgery), TMJ (jaw joint) and implant surgery including bone grafting.
Jason prides himself on good communication and patient rapport.
